What you should know about having your wedding or special occasion at Hopcott Farms
What is the maximum number of guests I can have?
150. This leaves ample room for buffet tables and dance floor.
What is your wedding season?
At this time, we offer weddings from June thru September.
Can I come tour the venue before I commit to having my wedding here?
Yes. This is a working farm, so all tours are by appointment only. Please contact our venue coordinator by email or phone.
What days/hours do I have access to the venue for my wedding?
One day prior to your wedding from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Day of your wedding from 9:00 am
One day after your wedding from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
How late can my wedding go till?
10:30pm – garage doors must be shut to limit noise
11:00pm – music must be turned off
12:00am – event must be finished
12:30am – event area must be vacated, doors and driveway gate will be closed
What are my catering options?
Our butcher shop and kitchen, Hopcott Meats offers catering services. You are also welcome to hire your own catering company. We do offer a prep area for your caterer with running hot and cold water, refrigeration and freezer space.
Can I bring my own alchohol?
You may bring your own alcohol but you must obtain a special occasions license (SOL) and the applicant/holder must have a valid Serving It Right certificate and will have a legal duty of care for event attendees.
Should I inform my guests of anything specific?
This is a working farm, and the grounds consist of gravel, grass and pavement so we highly recommend that you inform your female guests, for their safety, that all footwear be flats.
As well, your venue is surrounded by our crops, so we please ask that everyone be respectful and not pick or harm anything they see growing.
Is there anything extra and unique that you offer?
Yes. We have many lawn games that are included in your venue rental. For unique snack options we have a popcorn machine. Or ask about our rehearsal dinner Hopcott Meats BBQ package. We also have many different farm related and vintage props that you may use in your decoration.
